BLIZZARD WARNING HAS BEEN ISSUED. BOROUGH OF HATBORO SNOW EMERGENCY EFFECTIVE 6:00 PM TONIGHT.
The National Weather Service has issued a BLIZZARD WARNING for the area which includes the Borough of Hatboro effective at 7PM this evening. Heavy snow, high gusty winds and blowing snow expected. Snow accumulations are predicted to be 12 – 18 inches from this major winter storm.
The Borough of Hatboro has declared a SNOW EMERGENCY effective 6;00 P.M. tonight. The following roads are snow emergency routes and parking on these roads is prohibited during the snow emergency:

*Byberry Avenue from South York Road to Borough line
*E. County Line Road from North York Road to Warminster Road
*W. County Line Road from North York Road to Borough line
*Horsham Road from South York Road to Borough line
*Jacksonville Road from E. Moreland Avenue to E. County Line Road
*E. Montgomery Avenue from York Road to Jacksonville Road
*W. Moreland Avenue from York Road to Borough line
*E.. Moreland Avenue from York Road to Jacksonville Road
*S. Penn Street from Byberry Avenue to E. Moreland Avenue
*S. Warminster Road from Mill Road to E. Moreland Avenue
*N. Warminster Road from E. Moreland Avenue to E. County Line Road
*S. York Road from Newington Drive to Moreland Avenue
*N. York Road from Moreland Avenue to County Line Road
Please remove all parked vehicles from these streets by 6:00 PM tonight. Violators are subject to ticketing and towing.
Other streets may be posted with temporary “No Parking” restrictions depending upon conditions. During a snow emergency, no vehicle shall be operated upon any street or road located within the Borough of Hatboro without snow-rated tires or chains.
